Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized japanese sweet potatoes, washed and scrubbed
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil

DIPPING SAUCE:

  • The world is your oyster! sometimes we like ketchup, but today we used organic guacamole.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes in half and then lengthwise, into 1/2 inch strips.
  • In a medium bowl, add the potatoes, salt, garlic powder, and sesame oil.
  • Make sure to coat the potatoes well.
  • On a parchment lined baking sheet, add the sweet potatoes in a single layer.
  • Bake for 22 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and flip them over once.
  • Bake for another 20-22 minutes. They should be slightly crispy on the outside.
  • If they are not, then turn on the broiler for 30 seconds to 1 minute, watching carefully so they don't burn.
  • Remove from oven, pair with your guacamole, and DEVOUR.
