When it comes to comfort food, the most cozy, comforting dishes involve three key ingredients: bread, cheese, and garlic. And lucky for you, this recipe includes all three! That's right, my Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread is a cozy, comforting, and incredibly cheesy dish that is perfect to warm you up on a cool winter night, or entertain guests at all of your holiday parties! This dish is NOT gluten-free or dairy-free, but trust me when I say that it is worth it!
- 1 Boule / Loaf Crusty Rustic Bread
- 1 Stick Salted Butter melted
- 6 Cloves Garlic minced
- 2 Tablespoons Parsley chopped
- 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- 1 ½ Cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
- ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 Bunch Chives finely chopped
Start by preheating your oven to 375 F.
Next, you’ll want to cut your bread in the following way: use a serrated knife and cross-hatch the bread (aka, cutting diagonally in each direction), making sure not to slice the bread all the way through. If you get stuck, follow the video tutorial above!
Once your bread is sliced, place it on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Then, melt your salted butter in a small bowl, and mix it together with the chopped garlic and parsley.
Using a brush, brush the butter all over the bread, being sure to get inside all of the cut crevices / crosshatches.
Stuff the crosshatches of the bread full of your cheeses, being sure to not miss any crevices. The more cheese, the merrier, so feel free to sprinkle some on top or use additional cheese, if desired!
Top with chives, then use a sheet of foil to cover the bread completely. Depending on the size of your loaf, you may need to to use two sheets!
Bake your loaf for 30 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5-10 more minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
Once done, serve and enjoy! This recipe is best eaten the same day it’s made.
