If you're looking for a refreshing and colorful drink to brighten up your day, then you have to try this Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. This gorgeous layered latte starts with a homemade strawberry syrup made from fresh strawberries and monk fruit sweetener, then is topped with creamy milk and a smooth whisked matcha. The result? A naturally sweet, earthy, and fruit drink that feels like something you'd order at a café in Japan, but was made in just minutes right at home.

Instructions

  • To make this matcha latte, first start by preparing the strawberry syrup.
  • Add the strawberries and monk fruit sweetener to a blender and blend until smooth. If you don't have a blender, mash the strawberries really well so they're drinkable through a straw.
  • Next, prepare the matcha. Add the matcha powder to a small bowl along with the hot water. Whisk for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture is completely smooth and free of clumps.
  • Finally, assemble the latte! Add the strawberry syrup to the bottom of a glass, then fill the glass with ice. Pour in the milk of your choice, followed by the matcha.
  • Add more ice if desired, stir gently to swirl, and enjoy!
