When it comes to fruit, the summertime is all about peaches and strawberries. These sweet, delicious fruits are not only in-season this time of year, making them have the most beautiful flavor, but they are ABUNDANT and plentiful, meaning that it is the perfect way to experiment with different methods of using them! And my Sweet & Sour Tajín Peaches & Strawberries may just be my favorite way to eat them yet. They are a little sweet, a little salty, and a little spicy, for a flavor that truly cannot be beat!
- 2 Peaches chopped
- 2 Cups Strawberries sliced
- 1 Lemon juiced
- ¼ Cup Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 3-4 Tablespoons Tajín
Start by washing and chopping your peaches and strawberries. Then, place your chopped fruit into a large bowl.
Next, squeeze the juice of one lemon over the fruit, being sure to fully coat them.
Then, add your monk fruit sweetener and Tajín to the bowl with the fruit.
Toss until your fruit is fully coated in the lemon juice, monk fruit sweetener, and Tajín, then serve and enjoy!
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
