Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups cups regular all purpose or gluten free flour
  • 12 oz bottle of beer (I used an ale, but it’s up to you!)
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp organic butter or vegan butter
  • 3 tbsp Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Grease the inside of a loaf pan very well with oil or butter.
  • Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, two tablespoons EBTB, and the baking powder.
  • Next, add the honey, followed by the beer.
  • It will start to bubble, but just gently mix everything together until incorporated.
  • Transfer the batter into the loaf fan, sprinkle remaining EBTB seasoning on top, and then drizzle with the butter.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, let cool, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

You can store this bread out on the countertop for 1-2 days, but then I recommend storing it in the refrigerator for up to one week. I love this bread because it’s fantastic to slice and toast — unlike other breads, this one is sturdy and doesn’t fall apart. Maybe add some yummy cream cheese and avocado on top, the possibilities are endless!
