Winter Immune Boosting Smoothie

This Winter Immune Boosting Smoothie will give you the best natural energy boost, and it's packed with lots of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients, to support your immune system this holiday season and beyond. And did I mention, it's delicious?!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Wedderspoon manuka honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

Instructions

  • If using fresh ginger, peel and grate the ginger, and add it to a blender. If you are using powdered ginger, that's ok, just add that to the blender.
  • Next, shred carrots and that to the blender, along with remaining ingredients.
  • Blend on high speed for about one minute, until the smoothie is nice and creamy.
  • Adjust liquid to taste!

Notes

If you like more creamy texture, try adding 1/4 cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice).
