This Winter Immune Boosting Smoothie will give you the best natural energy boost, and it's packed with lots of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients, to support your immune system this holiday season and beyond. And did I mention, it's delicious?!
Ingredients
1cuporange juice
1frozen banana
1teaspoonground ginger
1tablespoonWedderspoon manuka honey
1/2teaspooncinnamon
1teaspoonturmeric powder
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
1/2cupshredded carrots
Instructions
If using fresh ginger, peel and grate the ginger, and add it to a blender. If you are using powdered ginger, that's ok, just add that to the blender.
Next, shred carrots and that to the blender, along with remaining ingredients.
Blend on high speed for about one minute, until the smoothie is nice and creamy.
Adjust liquid to taste!
Notes
If you like more creamy texture, try adding 1/4 cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice).
