    EASY ITALIAN BRUSCHETTA

    Ingredients

    • 1 loaf sourdough baguette, sliced about 3/4-1 inch thick⁣
    • 4 tbsp olive oil, divided⁣
    • ½ red onion, diced⁣
    • ¼ cup basil, chopped⁣
    • 3 tomatoes⁣
    • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar⁣
    • Sea salt flakes⁣

    Instructions 

    1. Preheat oven to 400.
    2. Line up the bread slices on a baking sheet.
    3. Brush two tablespoons of the olive oil onto the bread slices.
    4. Place the tray in the oven for 6-9 minutes.
    5. Remove from the oven and make your topping!
    6. Dice the tomatoes, onion, and basil.
    7. Take a paper towel and lightly soak up the water from the tomatoes.
    8. Place everything into a medium bowl, and add remaining olive oil
    9. Toss gently until coated.
    10. Use a spoon and add some bruschetta topping into each piece of bread
    11. Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
    12. Enjoy immediately!
