Kalejunkie Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2021

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and with many of us reconnecting with our loved ones this year, it only makes sense to go all-out and celebrate our mothers (or, the mother-like figures in our lives) the way they deserve.

In this guide, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite gift picks, and the best part is, almost all of them are under $100. I truly believe that we don’t have to break the bank in order to show our loved ones how much we truly care about them, and these gifts all hit the mark for being intentional, thoughtful, and high quality, without coming with a high price tag.

Here are my top Mother’s Day gift picks for 2021!

1. Dried Phoebe Floral Bouquet: Unlike fresh flowers that will die within a few days, these dried flowers are the perfect take on the traditional Mother’s Day gift. At only $28 they’re more affordable than a conventional bouquet, and they’ll last forever. It’s a win-win!
2. Parachute Throw: I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely obsessed with Parachute. They have the softest fabrics and the most exceptional design. Their Oversized Knit Throw is part of their newest collection, and looks cozy as hell. I may just pick this one up for myself at some point!
3. Voluspa Candle: Voluspa’s candles are the perfect example of exceptional design and quality at a relatively affordable price. Their design is absolutely beautiful and looks so elegant, while their scents are lovely and can really fill up a whole room. Whenever I light one of their candles, I can smell it throughout the entire house, which is perfect for creating a beautiful and relaxing aroma everywhere you go. I can’t recommend these candles enough.
4. Nathalie Lete “Mom” Mug: As a cute take on the more traditional “mom” gifts, I had to throw in this mug! Maybe it’s a little cheesy, but hey, don’t moms love cheesy gifts? 
5. Ouai “Chill Pills”: I am totally obsessed with these bath bombs by Ouai. They’re not only so cute (I can’t get over the pill shape!) but they also smell like Jasmine and Rose, oh, and also Jojoba oil to help soften your skin. I love these as a nice self-care day treat.
6. OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker: Sure, almost every coffee drinker owns a coffee machine, but not everyone owns a cold brew coffee machine! If your mom loves her iced coffee in the mornings, then this is the perfect gift for her.
7. Skims Rib Leggings: Okay, hear me out: these are quite possibly the softest leggings EVER. Kim Kardashian knew what she was doing when she created these. They’re so insanely soft, have the perfect amount of stretch, and fit like a glove. I would wear these every single day if I could.
8. Le Maris Pastry Set: While you could totally treat mom to some homemade Kalejunkie treats (like my Best Gluten-Free Cinnamon Rolls) there’s also something to be said about a good French-style pastry. Le Maris is a San Francisco based cafe that serves up authentic french pastries that are to die for. Thankfully though, you don’t have to be in San Francisco to get them! You can order online and have them delivered frozen to your door, just in time for Mother’s Day brunch.
9. Sephora “Meet the Minis” Ilia Beauty Set: I recently did a roundup of my 10 Clean Beauty Swaps, where I shared a few of my favorite Ilia products (all of which would make great gifts). But, Ilia recently launched this starter kit full of mini versions of their best selling products, which is perfect for someone who is looking to dip their toes into clean beauty! 11. “Essential Well Being” book: If your mama is a bit more on the holistic side (or looking to dive into holistic rituals) then this beautiful book would be a great pick for her.
