When it comes to the perfect summertime drink, there is nothing more quintessential to the season than Lemonade. But recently, I discovered Limonada, a Brazilian drink that is everything that you know and love about lemonade, but made with limes and mixed with creamy condensed milk for a drink that is tart refreshing, sweet, and creamy. My dairy-free version of the Viral Brazilian Limonada is truly the drink of the summer, this year, and I know that you are absolutely going to love it!

Equipment

  • 1 Blender You already know that my Vitamix is my ride-or-die blender. It is my favorite kitchen gadget, and I use it every single day!

Ingredients

  • 5 Limes washed and cut into quarters
  • 4 Cups Cold Water
  • 1 Can Condensed Milk you can also use coconut condensed milk!
  • 3-4 Cups Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Start by chopping your limes into quarters, and add them to a blender along with the cold water.
  • Blend on high for about 40 seconds, being careful not to over-blend- this will make the Limonada bitter!
  • Strain the liquid into a bowl or jar, then discard the leftover limes.
  • Wash your blender thoroughly, then add the lime juice ONLY back to the blender along with the ice and can of condensed milk.
  • Blend for another 30-40 seconds, then transfer to a glass and enjoy! Store any leftovers back in the fridge, for up to three days.
