If you're looking for the ultimate snack that is crispy on the outside, and soft, chewy, and buttery on the inside, then look no further because I've got you covered. My 10 Minute Fluffy Air Fryer Pretzel Bites are a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth snack that is way better than any store bought pretzels. Plus, they come together in only 10 minutes, making them perfect to throw together for game day, or any celebration!
Pretzels
- 2 Cups water (110 degrees)
- 4 Cups all purpose flour
- 2.4 Teaspoons quick rise yeast
- 1 Teaspoon sea salt
- 1 Tablespoon sugar (or honey)
Glaze
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter
- Pretzel salt (optional)
Add water to a bowl and heat it to about 110 degrees F. That’s basically just warm water - not hot and not cold.
Add yeast and whisk together. Set the bowl aside.
Next, grab a large bowl, and mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
Pour the water-yeast mixture to the flour mix, and stir until a dough forms — you may need to add another tablespoon or so of water, but you want that dough to be nice and thick and not too sticky!
Sprinkle some flour to a countertop, and divide the dough into 8 pieces.
Roll the dough into eight ropes.
Slice the dough into 1-inch piece.
Lightly spray the basket of the air fryer with oil of choice.
Place pretzel bites into the basket, giving them enough room to expand. Brush them with melted butter.
Cook for 7 minutes at 400 degrees F, or until lightly browned on top.
Remove from air fryer, and once slightly cooled, transfer them to a plate.
Brush them once more with remaining butter and sprinkle pretzel salt on top.
Enjoy!
