- Preheat oven to 300. 
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
- In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, tahini, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cardamom, cinnamon, and sea salt. 
- Next, add the nuts and coconut shreds. 
- Stir to coat everything well. 
- Transfer the granola to the baking sheet and press down, so the ingredients are in one layer, but as close together as possible. 
- Bake for 15 minutes, then rotate the tray and bake for another 15 minutes. 
- Allow the granola to cool for 15 minutes and then add the chocolate chips (the chocolate should melt just a little). 
- Once completely cool, break the granola apart and enjoy!!!
