Nothing makes mornings better than starting your day off with a bright and vibrant tonic! This cheerful, Gut-Healthy Glow-Up Morning Tonic is my favorite way to start the mornings and set my body up for success. It's full of gut-healthy ingredients to get your digestive system going, and comes together in three, simple and easy steps!
- ¾ Cup Coconut Water
- ¼ Cup Water
- 3-4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice this should be about one lemon
- 1 Tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup
- 1 Teaspoon Grated or Ground Ginger
- ¼ Teaspoon Ground Turmeric
- 1 Pinch Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Handful Ice Cubes
Add all of your ingredients to a large mason jar with a lid.
Next, place the lid on the jar and shake it vigorously, for 20-30 seconds, until the honey (or maple syrup) dissolves.
Finally, remove the lid and enjoy your tonic straight from the jar!
