Have you ever wanted to make a veggie-packed pasta dish, only to be discouraged by the amount of time it takes to make pasta AND steam the veggies? Well friends, I am about to change the game here, because this simple and easy kitchen hack will teach you how to steam your veggies AND cook your pasta, all at the same time! The best part is, you won't to dirty any additional dishes to make this work. It's the easiest one-pot hack!
- 1 Package Pasta of Choice
- Vegetables of Choice
Start by boiling a large pot of water on the stove and cook your pasta according to the package directions.
Next, place a cooling rack on top of the pot of pasta.
Place your veggies on top of the cooling rack, then cover with the lid or with an upside down pot.
Let steam for 7-8 minutes, then remove the lid / pot.
Strain the pasta, then plate and serve!
