If you're wondering how "custard" and "toast" can go together, then you're not alone - when this recipe first started trending on TikTok, I was slightly skeptical about how well the combination could work together. But let me tell you, after trying it out for myself, I am OBSESSED. My Viral Raspberry Custard Toast recipe comes together with only 6 ingredients and in under 20 minutes, and is perfect as a delicious and sweet breakfast, or as a fun afternoon snack!
- 1 5-7 oz. Single-Serving Container Greek Yogurt can also substitute dairy-free yogurt, but the custard consistency won't be the same!
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon optional
- 2 Slices Bread of Choice I use white sandwich bread, but any bread works well!
- ½ Cup Raspberries or substitute berries off choice
Start by taking your slices of bread (we’ll be using two for this recipe) and press down gently in the center of them with a fork. You want to make shallow indentations here, so that there’s room for the custard!
Next, grab a small bowl and add-in the yogurt, egg, honey, and cinnamon. Whisk them together until fully combined.
Transfer your custard mixture to the bread and spread it out evenly in the indentation.
Top each toast slice with your berries.
Place your toast in the air fryer at 350 F for 12 minutes. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also bake it in the oven at 350 F for 18-19 minutes.
Once done, serve immediately, and enjoy!
