If you're wondering how "custard" and "toast" can go together, then you're not alone - when this recipe first started trending on TikTok, I was slightly skeptical about how well the combination could work together. But let me tell you, after trying it out for myself, I am OBSESSED. My Viral Raspberry Custard Toast recipe comes together with only 6 ingredients and in under 20 minutes, and is perfect as a delicious and sweet breakfast, or as a fun afternoon snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 5-7 oz. Single-Serving Container Greek Yogurt can also substitute dairy-free yogurt, but the custard consistency won't be the same!
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon optional
  • 2 Slices Bread of Choice I use white sandwich bread, but any bread works well!
  • ½ Cup Raspberries or substitute berries off choice

Instructions

  • Start by taking your slices of bread (we’ll be using two for this recipe) and press down gently in the center of them with a fork. You want to make shallow indentations here, so that there’s room for the custard!
  • Next, grab a small bowl and add-in the yogurt, egg, honey, and cinnamon. Whisk them together until fully combined.
  • Transfer your custard mixture to the bread and spread it out evenly in the indentation.
  • Top each toast slice with your berries.
  • Place your toast in the air fryer at 350 F for 12 minutes. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also bake it in the oven at 350 F for 18-19 minutes.
  • Once done, serve immediately, and enjoy!
