Whether this is a #SoberSummer for you, or you're just looking for fun alcohol-free mocktails, then get ready, because this mocktail recipe will change your life! My Greyhound Basil Mocktail is an alcohol-free twist on one of my favorite classic cocktails that will make you feel like you're on a fabulous summer vacation.


  • 3-4 Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 4 Ounces Grapefruit Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 Ounces Grapefruit Sparkling Water or substitute other sparkling water of choice
  • 1 Pinch Flaky Salt


  • Start by adding your basil and honey to a glass. Using a muddler or a spoon, muddle or mash the basil and honey together, until the aromatics begin to release from the basil.
  • Next, squeeze your grapefruit juice into the glass.
  • Then, add in your sparkling water until the liquid reaches the top of the glass.
  • Stir your drink together, so that all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Finally, top your mocktail off with another honey drizzle, a sprig of basil, and a pinch of the flaky salt. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
