Sweet, creamy honey and spicy fresh ginger comes together for the perfect summertime lemonade recipe. This is The Best Honey Ginger Lemonade and it comes together in just a matter of minutes! It's made from 5 simple ingredients and is sure to be your new summertime staple.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender You already know that my Vitamix is my ride-or-die blender. It is my favorite kitchen gadget, and I use it every single day!

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Lemons freshly squeezed - this is approximately 2 cups of lemon juice
  • Cup Fresh Ginger peeled and chopped roughly
  • ¾ Cup Honey
  • 2 ½ Cups Water
  • Basil for garnishing

Instructions

  • To make this lemonade, start by adding the lemon juice, ginger, and honey to a blender.
  • Blend the ingredients, on high, until they're smooth and frothy. This should take approximately 1 minute.
  • Once the ingredients are blended, taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness as needed. You may want to add more honey, if you like the lemonade extra sweet! Be sure to re-blend as needed, so that the honey is fully incorporated into the lemonade.
  • Then, pour the water and ice into a large pitcher, followed by the lemon mixture. Use a wooden spoon to stir to combine.
  • Once it's done, garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Then, serve and enjoy!
