Starting the day with a boat load of my TWO INGREDIENT CHERRY CHIA JAM. On top of gluten free sourdough and almond butter! Once you make your own jam, you’ll never buy store bought again! It’s so easy and contains no added sugars or other weird preservatives!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of frozen cherries
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds (you can use fresh cherries, but you need to remove the pits)

Instructions

  • Place the cherries and chia seeds in a small pot over low / medium heat, stirring constantly and mashing the cherries.
  • After about 5-7 minutes, remove from heat and let sit for about 5 minutes. The chia will gel and the jam thickens!
  • Store any extra in the fridge for up to one week.

  1. Hello! We have a TON of plums from our tree this year and I would like to try to make a ham like this. Would this work with plums, or do you have any recommendations for making plum jam/jelly?
