BANANA BREAD CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT DONUTS

Ingredients

  • 1 box Simple Mills banana bread mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp oil (I use either avocado oil or melted coconut oil)
  • 1 bar of chocolate (I used Eating Evolved for this one, but Hu Kitchen or Enjoy Life Foods would work well also)
  • ¼ cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  • Sea salt to sprinkle on top

Instructions

  • Following the instructions on the banana bread mix package, in a medium bowl, combine the banana bread package contents, oil, water, and eggs.
  • Mix together well, and pour the batter evenly into a silicone donut pan (you should be able to fill 6 fully)
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Note, this is less than what it says on the box, so follow my instructions.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  • Once cooled, drizzle each one with melted chocolate, chopped macadamia nuts, and sprinkle with sea salt.
