ONE POT SPICY TOMATO AND SAUSAGE PASTA

Ingredients

package True Story Foods Organic Spicy Chicken Sausage (or sausage or choice)
1
box chickpea pasta (or pasta of choice)
1
14.5 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1
cup
basil, roughly torn apart
1
bulb fennel, thinly sliced (optional)
2
cloves garlic, mashed
2
tbsp
olive oil
1
tsp
sea salt
pinch black pepper
4 ½
cups
water (I used
Bonafide Provisions Chicken Bone Broth
)
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a big pot and place on the stove and stir together (I used a
3.5 quart Le Creuset
).
Bring to a soft boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low, and cover for 9-11 minutes.
At the half way point, remove cover and stir so the pasta doesn’t stick together.
Replace cover and remove from heat and enjoy!
