To make these Onion Ring Chips, start by preheating your oven to 400 F.
Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
Then, prepare the onion. Remove the skin from the onion, then slice them thin using a mandolin or a sharp knife. You want the onion slices to be approximately 1/4 inch thick.
Next, grate the parmesan cheese onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it out into an even layer.
Lay the onion slices across the top of the parmesan cheese.
Brush the onion slices with olive oil then sprinkle them with Italian seasoning.
Then, transfer the baking sheet into the oven and allow the onions to bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
Once the onions are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Then, lift the onion chips off of the parchment paper.
Break the onion chips into pieces, serve with a side of warm pizza sauce (if desired) and enjoy!
