Easy Bruschetta

EASY ITALIAN BRUSCHETTA

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sourdough baguette, sliced about 3/4-1 inch thick⁣
  • 4 tbsp olive oil, divided⁣
  • ½ red onion, diced⁣
  • ¼ cup basil, chopped⁣
  • 3 tomatoes⁣
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar⁣
  • Sea salt flakes⁣

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Line up the bread slices on a baking sheet.
  • Brush two tablespoons of the olive oil onto the bread slices.
  • Place the tray in the oven for 6-9 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and make your topping!
  • Dice the tomatoes, onion, and basil.
  • Take a paper towel and lightly soak up the water from the tomatoes.
  • Place everything into a medium bowl, and add remaining olive oil
  • Toss gently until coated.
  • Use a spoon and add some bruschetta topping into each piece of bread
  • Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
  • Enjoy immediately!
