Ingredients
- 1 loaf sourdough baguette, sliced about 3/4-1 inch thick
- 4 tbsp olive oil, divided
- ½ red onion, diced
- ¼ cup basil, chopped
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Line up the bread slices on a baking sheet.
- Brush two tablespoons of the olive oil onto the bread slices.
- Place the tray in the oven for 6-9 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and make your topping!
- Dice the tomatoes, onion, and basil.
- Take a paper towel and lightly soak up the water from the tomatoes.
- Place everything into a medium bowl, and add remaining olive oil
- Toss gently until coated.
- Use a spoon and add some bruschetta topping into each piece of bread
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
- Enjoy immediately!
