If you love watermelon as much as I do, then you are in the right place. There is no fruit that I love more in the summertime than crisp, crunchy, refreshing watermelon. And when it’s blended into a delicious drink? It’s truly heaven on earth. If you love watermelon but have never tried watermelon juice, then RUNNN to your kitchen and make this recipe, because you will be hooked!

Plus, this recipe is packed with skin-healthy benefits, which means that it’s sure to give you that bright, vibrant, sun-kissed glow, all summer long. It starts with the hydrating benefits of both watermelon and coconut water, which are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that keep your skin glowing. But the real secret to making this Skin Glow Juice? It’s in one of my all-time favorite supplements, aka Modere Liquid Collagen.

If you’ve been paying attention to my Instagram stories over the past few years, then you’ve definitely seen me talk about this supplement. It is magic I tell you, MAGIC. This liquid collagen is more bioavailable than powdered collagen, which means that your body actually absorbs all of the collagen for those skin and hair-healthy benefits. There is no supplement that has changed my life quite like this Liquid Collagen, and it is perfect for adding to this juice! Oh, and you can also use my link for 15% off your subscription, which means that you can have these skin-healthy benefits on repeat all summer long! Truly, is there anything better than that?

What You Need to Make This Refreshing Summer Mocktail

This skin-friendly drink could not be easier to throw together in a pinch! It comes together with just four ingredients: fresh watermelon, coconut water, my beloved liquid collaged (which is optional but HIGHLY recommended), lime juice, and a pinch of sea salt. That’s it! However, if you want to give this recipe a boozy twist, you can always leave out the liquid collagen and replace it with a shot of tequila. 😉

  • Watermelon Juice: Of course, this wouldn’t be Hydrating Watermelon Skin Glow Juice without the watermelon juice! You will need approximately six cups of cubed, fresh watermelon in order to make this recipe.
  • Coconut Water: Coconut water is cool, refreshing, and packed with electrolytes, making it perfect for this recipe.
  • Liquid Collagen: While this is optional, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend using liquid collagen in this recipe! My beloved Modere Liquid Collagen is the one beauty supplement that I’ve taken consistently over the past few years, and it has truly changed me from the inside out. I cannot recommend it enough, and it really gives this juice its skin glowing properties.
  • Lime Juice: A pinch of lime juice adds just the right amount of tang and tastes absolutely delicious in this recipe.
  • Sea Salt: A pinch of sea salt balances out the sweetness of the watermelon and brings this juice together — don’t skip it!
A white blender filled with pink watermelon juice sits on a counter, surrounded by a glass pitcher of juice, a cut lime, a bowl of salt, and fresh watermelon slices.
Blend the juice until all of the ingredients are fully combined, and the watermelon turns into a juice-like consistency. It should be smooth and watery!

Four Steps to Making This Healthy Watermelon Juice

To make this Skin Glow Juice, start by preparing the watermelon. Cube a fresh watermelon and add the cubes to a blender alongside the coconut water, liquid collagen (if using), lime juice, and sea salt.

Once the juice is fully blended, strain the pulp out of the mixture. Once the juice is fully blended, strain the pulp out of the mixture. Serve the juice over ice and enjoy! Store any leftovers back in the fridge for up to one week.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I prepare the watermelon juice, for this recipe?

The watermelon juice is so easy to prepare! Simply cube a whole watermelon and reserve approximately six cups of the cubes. Then, add the cubes straight into a high-speed blender. That’s it! You’ll need to strain the pulp out, but it’s the perfect way to create a delicious watermelon juice in seconds.

Do I need to add the liquid collagen?

No, you don’t — this recipe is still delicious without it! While I fully recommend the liquid collagen for all of the skin, hair, and gut-health benefits, I also know that it’s not the cheapest supplement on the market, and sometimes we just don’t have the means or time to add one more supplement to our budget. If that’s you, know that is totally fine. You do not HAVE to add the collagen in, and you can omit it to still make a delicious drink!

How long does this juice stay good for?

When stored in the fridge, this watermelon juice should stay fresh for up to one week.

Can I make this juice boozy?

Sure! Simply omit the liquid collagen and substitute it for 1-2 shots of tequila blanco instead.
