Blueberry cobbler is one of my favorite desserts, and when it’s in a smoothie form that I can make every day? It’s even better. This Blueberry Cobbler Smoothie not only tastes just like your favorite dessert in a glass, but is full of gut-healthy ingredients to set your digestion system up for success. It’s the perfect all-in-one smoothie, and makes for a delicious breakfast, lunch, or post-workout snack!
I am back today with another smoothie recipe, and I know I say this every time, but seriously, this one is my new favorite. When I say that it tastes like a dessert in a glass, it truly does! It’s thick, creamy, and loaded with blueberries, and get its sweetness from bananas. And if that’s not amazing enough, then we’re also making a healthy, crumble topping to go on this smoothie. And friends, it is literally HEAVEN.
I love sharing recipes that are not only delicious, but also super healthy, and I’m so excited because this smoothie in particular is loaded with ingredients that are beneficial for your gut health. And how do I know that these ingredients are so good for your gut? Because I’ve crafted it alongside my friends at Seed, referencing the Periodic Table of Microbiome-Friendly Foods.
If you are unfamiliar with Seed, then let me introduce you, because Seed will truly change your life (and your gut health!) They make my all-time favorite probiotic on the market, also known as their DS-01™ Daily Synbiotic. It is backed by clinical trials and scientific research, and with a combination of probiotic and prebiotic strains, it is truly the ONLY synbiotic that you’ll ever need. Trust me.
I’ve been taking Seed for a few years now, and have noticed so many positive differences to my gut health. Not only is my digestion better overall, but my skin is clearer, my bloat has significantly reduced, and I have regular bowel movements, daily. And I don’t know about you, but for me, any product that can give me results like those is worth all of the money!
Plus, their product couldn’t be easier to take. It’s two capsules per day, stored in their adorable, reusable glasscontainer. Oh, and did I mention… their Daily Synbiotic requires NO refrigeration. That means, I can keep it out on my counter, so I see it and remember to take it every day. It may sound trivial, but as a busy mom, having to remember to go to the fridge to take something every day just wouldn’t happen for me. So, the fact that it can sit on my counter, right where I will see it and remember to take it, really helps with my consistency. But back to this smoothie; like I mentioned earlier, this smoothie is full of gut-healthy ingredients, according to Seed’s Periodic Table of Microbiome-Friendly Foods. In this recipe, those foods include the blueberries, bananas, yogurt, almonds, and oats.
Aside from the microbiome-friendly foods listed above, here are the other ingredients that you need to make this smoothie!
You might have noticed that the cobbler topping requires oat flour. While oat flour can be found at most health food stores, it is SO easy to make a large batch of it at home, which will save you both time and money!
I have a full blog post detailing how you can make it at home, with just a few simple ingredients, in a matter of seconds. Plus, I troubleshoot all of your most frequently asked questions, so the process simply could not be any easier! You can click here to see the full post.

We LOVE dessert for breakfast, Agnes! Thank you for making this smoothie and for being such a dedicated KJ smoothie fanatic! xoxo
I also drank two servings so fast! The thickness of this smoothie is perfect, and it’s delicious! Love all the ingredients especially the cobbler! Will definitely incorporate this one into my smoothie routine! Thank you!
Woohoo!! That seems to be the way to go, and I LOVE to hear it! Thank you so much for sharing your review, Shelley!!
This is so good. Tastes like a summer blueberry dessert. I drank it so fast. I also just saw that this recipe is two servings but I consumed the whole thing just myself. But, it’s ok bc it’s healthy, right!? I was out of oats so I ended up using overnight oats that I’d already mixed together with some of these ingredients.
Yay! I am so thrilled to hear that, Lindsey! Thank you so much for sharing such a sweet review! And yes, it is totally okay to drink the whole smoothie yourself. 😉
