Friends, how many of you struggle to drink enough water?! I know I do. Yes, I know that water is good for me, but sometimes, plain water just feels so boring. And as someone who believes that life is way too short to have boring foods, I also believe that life is too short to have boring drinks!

Whether I’m making a fun twist on a cocktail, like my Spicy Jalapeño Margarita, or a creamy and delicious smoothie, like my Low Sugar Strawberries N’ Cream Smoothie, my drinks need to be fun, exciting, and flavorful. And I believe that applies to my water, too!

This simple and easy recipe is the best way to jazz up a plain ole’ glass of water, and make it way more exciting to drink. All you have to do is pick your favorite fruits and go to town! It’s as simple and easy as that!

How to Make Your Water Instantly More Exciting

To make these Fruit Ice Cubes, you only need three simple and easy ingredients!

    • Fruit of Choice: To make these Fruit Ice Cubes, you of course need fruit! This recipe is super customizable, because you can really use any fruit you desire. I personally love using chopped strawberries, green apples, and oranges. Get funky with it!
    • Fresh Mint: Don’t knock it until you try it – fresh mint tastes so delicious when mixed with the fruit!
    • Water: Of course, you need water to make ice cubes!

Then, simply chop up your mint and all of your fruit, and add it to an ice cube tray. Cover with water, then freeze until solid (usually at least 2 hours). Once your cubes are ready, simply add them to a glass of water and enjoy!

As the ice cubes begin to melt, the fruit will infuse into the water, leaving a delicious, slightly-sweet flavor to you traditional glass of water. It’s delicious!

The Best Ice Cube Trays EVER

And if you’re looking for the BEST ice cube trays to use in this recipe, then look no further because I have the PERFECT trays to share with you! These are my favorite, and not only have become an integral part of so many of my viral TikTok ice cube tray recipes, but are an absolute staple in my kitchen!

I’ve linked them here for you, and when I tell you that you need them, I’m not kidding. YOU NEED THEM! Not only are they nice and deep, making them perfect for all of your ice cube “hacks” and recipes, but they also have attaching lids, which means you can stack your trays in your freezer without resulting in any spillage. It’s a win-win!

If you make this recipe, please be sure to leave a review and rating below! And, since I practically live on Instagram, be sure to tag me in your creations so that I can repost them! xx
