Friends, spring is in full-swing, and I could not be happier about it. The weather is warm, the trees are blooming, and the fruit this time of year? I swear, it’s better than ever. This year I am all about the blueberries and have been enjoying them in everything from muffins to smoothies to even my overnight oats. And let’s be honest, a handful of sweet blueberries is sure to make the perfect snack.

A few weeks ago I was scrolling on Instagram and came across this viral post from @lemonsandlucy. And soon, creators everywhere were making them and posting them and raving about them. So of course I had to try them too! AND OH MY GOSH SO GOOD!

Aside from how delicious these are – not to mention protein packed, thanks to the Greek yogurt – the best part about this recipe is the fact that this recipe can truly be tailored to meet any dietary needs. If you’re vegan, simply use dairy-free yogurt and chocolate chips. If you’re paleo, use yogurt and chocolate chips without the refined sugars. There are so many ways to enjoy this snack, which is why it’s truly one of my favorite recipes for these warmer months!

All of the ingredients needed to make these blueberry clusters, laid out on a countertop
To make these delicious clusters, you will need blueberries, yogurt, chocolate chips, and coconut oil. That’s it!
A baking sheet, lined with parchment paper, with scoops of the blueberry clusters lined on it. A bowl of yogurt covered blueberries and a bowl of chocolate chips can be seen beside it
To make these clusters, start by washing your blueberries and drying them well, adding them to a bowl once they’re cleaned. Next, add your yogurt to the bowl and toss until the blueberries are fully coated in the yogurt.

4 Ingredients to Make These Crunchy Clusters

Would you believe me if I told you that you only need 4 ingredients in order to make these recipes? It’s true! These clusters are perfectly crunchy, bursting with flavor, and are so simple and easy to make.

    • Blueberries: Of course, you need blueberries in order to make these clusters! I like using fresh blueberries so they are nice and juicy when you bite into them.
    • Yogurt: Pick your favorite yogurt and use it in this recipe! I recommend using either plain or vanilla yogurt, and you can use either dairy or non-dairy yogurt here- both work just as well!
    • Chocolate Chips: Chocolate chips will help make the delicious chocolate coating. My favorite chocolate chips are by Hu, and you can use code KALEJUNKIE for 15% off your order!
    • Coconut Oil: This will help the chocolate melt and get nice and creamy!
A close-up image of a bowl of melted chocolate, with one of the clusters sitting inside of it and a spoon pouring chocolate on top of the clusters
Melt your chocolate, then pour it on top of the yogurt clusters, until they’re fully coated.

How to Make This Easy 20-Minute Snack

To make these clusters, start by washing your blueberries and drying them well, adding them to a bowl once they’re cleaned. Next, add your yogurt to the bowl and toss until the blueberries are fully coated in the yogurt. Then, scoop your blueberries into 6-8 scoops and place them onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and freeze for 20 minutes.

In a separate small bowl, add your chocolate chips and coconut oil and melt in 2, 30-second increments in the microwave until it’s completely smooth. Be sure to mix the coconut oil and chocolate in-between increments, so it combines together.

A wire cooling rack, topped with the frozen blueberry clusters. A bowl of chocolate sits on the rack with one of the clusters dipped into it

Once your chocolate is melted, remove your tray of blueberries from the freezer and dip each cluster into the chocolate. The chocolate will form a shell on top of each one! Add a sprinkle of sea salt if desired, then eat and enjoy! Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to one week.

These are the perfect sweet snack for me that I don’t feel guilty eating! The only change I made was by making them smaller and drizzling the chocolate on top. Yummy!!

These are so delicious and my kids love them but I struggle getting the chocolate to cover and stay on the yogurt clumps. Anyone else have this problem?

How do you keep the melted chocolate from cooling and getting chunky due to exposure to the cold yogurt clusters?
