Friends, are you team cocktail, or are you team sober-curious? For me, it alternates between the days. Some days, I absolutely love nothing more than a mocktail (or even a crisp, cold Poppi) at the end of the day. But on the days where I find myself craving a cocktail, I make sure to do it right. Whether I’m making a Frozen Margarita in the summer, or a Pumpkin Espresso Martini in the fall, there are so many fun and delicious cocktail recipes that are SO simple and easy to make at home.

And, not to mention, they’re much less expensive, too. Where I live in San Francisco, a single cocktail can run upwards of $20 for one drink. But at home, I can make a single cocktail for less than a few dollars, and in less time than it takes me to go out. Especially, thanks to my Viral Olive Cubes. These cubes are made from jarred olives and olive juice, and add the “dirty” to this dirty martini. Plus, it’s so easy to prepare a batch of them ahead of time, so that you can always have the perfect martini ready-to-go!

All of the ingredients needed to make this quick and easy dirty martini, laid out on a countertop
To make this drink, you will need Vodka, olive juice, Vermouth, and my Olive Cubes!
A cocktail shaker, sitting on a countertop, with the alcohol actively being poured into it. A small bowl of olives sits next to it.
Fill a cocktail shaker with lots of ice, and add in the vodka, olive juice, and vermouth. Shake the cocktail well, until the ingredients are fully combined.

What You Need to Make The Easiest Martini

    • Olive Cubes: The trick to making this martini quick and easy is to prepare my Viral Olive Cubes ahead of time. These cubes make it so simple and easy to prepare a dirty martini in a pinch, and they come together with just one simple ingredient!
    • Vodka: Good vodka is essential for a delicious Martini. Here’s a tip: you can find well-priced, high-quality alcohol at Trader Joe’s!
    • Olive Juice: Olive juice is what gives a martini its “dirty” quality. If you’re wondering where to get olive juice, just simply use the juice from a jar of olives!
    • Vermouth: A splash of vermouth adds the perfect amount of aromatics to the martini, giving it the classic flavor that you know and love.
A glass of the quick and easy dirty martini, with two ice cubes sitting inside of the glass and the cocktail actively being poured over the top of it
Next, add 2-3 of the olive ice cubes to a martini glass and pour the cocktail on top. Give it a stir, then serve and enjoy!

How to Make This Cocktail in Under 5 Minutes

To make this martini, start by preparing a tray of my Dirty Martini Olive Cubes. Once you’re ready to assemble the drink, start by placing your martini glass into the freezer to chill.

Next, fill a cocktail shaker with lots of ice, and add in the vodka, olive juice, and vermouth. Shake the cocktail well, until the ingredients are fully combined. Finally, remove the martini glass from the freezer and add in the olive cubes. Pour the martini into the glass, then serve and enjoy!
