1cupvermicelli noodles (or the thinnest you can find. Orzo works too)
1 1/2cupswhite rice (I use Basmati)
2tbspbutter (or vegan butter)
3cupswater (or broth of choice)
Instructions
Melt butter in a large pot on the stove.
Once melted, add the noodles.
You need to stir for about 3-4 minutes until the noodles turn brown. Just be careful that they don’t burn, so watch it, because it goes from brown to black fast.
Remove from heat.
Add the rice and water/broth and stir (it might sizzle a little!).
Return to the stove, turn heat to low, cover with a lid, and set timer for 20 minutes.
Once done, fluff rice and serve!
Add sea salt to taste.
Enjoy!
