If you love bagels, but hate the work that it takes to make them, then prepare to have your mind absolutely blown. The Viral TikTok 2-Ingredient Air Fryer Bagel Bites are soft, pillowy, bite-sized bagels that are not only so simple and easy to whip up on a whim, but also happen to be gluten-free. Can you believe it?!
Friends, let’s get one thing out of the way: I eat both gluten-free and gluten-filled foods. Why? Because I truly believe that life is about variety! Unless you have a gluten allergy, or are otherwise gluten-sensitive eating gluten-free isn’t always necessary. But, it can be healthier and gentler on our guts, which is why I often opt to eat gluten-free most days of the week!
But even with that said, mastering the art of gluten-free baking and/or cooking can be rather difficult. It’s why my famous Best Ever Paleo Everything Bagels were a labor of love to develop, and are still one of my more complex recipes to make. And while I am adamant that they are absolutely worth the time and energy to make them, it’s not exactly a recipe that you can whip up on a whim. Luckily, these bagel bites are here for you.
These bites, which I discovered on TikTok, thanks to @lilsipper and @bearinger, use only TWO ingredients, and are naturally gluten-free. Plus, they can easily be made vegan, and turn out just as good. Truly, there are very few times that I will say a recipe is perfect, but this one is pretty dang close.
As mentioned above, you truly only need two ingredients to bring these bagels to life!
Making these bagel bites couldn’t be any easier! The first step is to decide whether you want to make them in an air fryer or an oven. Both turn out equally as well, though an air fryer is quicker! If using an air fryer, move onto the next step. But if using an oven, preheat your oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, set aside.
Next, in a large bowl, mix together your gluten-free flour and yogurt until a dough forms. It will be on the stickier side, but that is okay!
Grease your hands using a little bit of oil, so that the dough doesn’t stick to them, then use a spoon to scoop out a small spoonful of dough. Roll it in your hands until it forms a ball, then coat it in the everything but the bagel seasoning, if desired. Repeat until all of the dough has been rolled into balls!
Finally, place your bagel bites into your air fryer basket, or line them up on your baking sheet. If using an air fryer, cook them at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. if using the oven, bake them for 16-18 minutes.
Once done, let cool, and enjoy! And for the best bagel experience, I recommend breaking them in half and slathering them in cream cheese. Yum!

I used 1 cup almond flour, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 2%, 1/2 tspn baking powder, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar and a bit of celtic sea salt… rolled in the EBS the a quick spray of vegetable oil, made them smaller than golf balls, more like a large gumball , 16 pieces, 350 air fryer for 13 minutes… amazing witha little whipped cream cheese !
Yum! That sounds delicious, RB! Thank you so much for making it and for leaving such a kind review!
OMG…i just love these bagel bites!!
I am so happy that you loved them, Zina! Thank you so much for your review!
These were a great alternative for a gluten free diet. The consistency wasn’t bagel-like, but they were easy to mix up and make, and perfect with cream cheese. They satisfied my bagel craving. NICE. I used Fage 0% milk fat yogurt and Blue Diamond almond flour. I live over 10,000 feet, and adjusted the cooking time in the air fryer to 12 minutes, and they came out perfectly.
I’m happy it turned out well for you, Jill! Thank you so much for your review!
A couple questions:
1. Can you use Low Fat or Fat Free Yogurt?
2. Could you use cottage cheese?
Hi Layna! You can definitely use low fat for fat-free yogurt. However, I do not recommend using cottage cheese.
I’m newly gluten-free and so excited to try these. Thanks for the recipe! About to what size do you roll these? Golf ball size?
Hi Debbi! Golf ball size is perfect ☻
Super easy and very delicious! Takes two minutes to make and just 10” to air fry. I’ll be making these often!
Woohoo! Thanks so much for making this recipe, Dave!
Made them into lox sliders (smoked salmon, green onion, red onion, cream cheese, dill if you have it).
Question: Any suggestions on how to store left over bites and reheat to reserve?
Assuming, frig and air fryer.
Hi Sean! I would reheat them in the air fryer ☻
I was a little skeptical because I’ve tried making gluten-free bread and it just wasn’t the same. I love a good bagel and these were so delicious! I have a toddler who has to eat gluten-free (wheat allergy) and I can’t wait for him to try them.
I am so happy to hear that, Brittany! Thank you for your review!
I made these after a long day of work – it only took 15 min like it said- they came out amazing! My family wanted more! I made it with pre cooked sausage patties and mini cucumber slices. We put jalapeños cream cheese on them and had blue cheese dressing as a dipping sauce for the cucumbers. So quick and easy, they will be a regular staple in our home!
Wow, I am so happy to hear that, Dana! Thank you so much for making this recipe and for leaving a review!
can I use whole wheat flour instead?
Yes, you can! ☻
So easy and good! Making another batch now bc my kids plowed thru them! 😃 used greek this time but going to try plant based soon as i buy some.
I am so thrilled that you and your kids loved this recipe, Crystal! Thank you so much for making it, and for leaving such a kind review!
Hi there! I love your page and am excited to try some of your recipes! Do you think you can use Artisan Flour for this?
Hi Christine, yes that should work well!
Hi. I love following you- You are very inspirational!! Can you use almond flour ? Thank you
Hi Patrice, thank you so much for the sweet words! I do not recommend using almond flour for this recipe.
Can you use regular flour?
Hi Emily, yes you can! 🙂
I made these and they looked really cute, but the outside burned and the inside remained doughy and uncooked. I spent another 20 mins or so adjusting the temp to try and cook the inside. I would recommend a lower temp for longer time – probably 300 for 15 mins.
Oh no! I am sorry you had that experience, Jess. Every oven is different, so yours might require a slightly different temperature!
