Introducing my latest snack obsession. My Frozen Tajin Grapes are a sweet and tangy snack that is perfect for the warmer months! Plus, this recipe uses only four simple ingredients, and comes together in the freezer in just a few hours, making it the perfect, pre-ahead snack to keep you cool, all summer long!
Friends, if you’ve spent any time scrolling through Food TikTok lately, then you might have noticed that grapes are all the rage. From frozen grapes to candy-coated grapes, grapes are definitely having their moment lately, and I am here for it!
Grapes are one of my favorite fruits, and are highly underrated, in my opinion. For starters, they are super sweet and delicious, and the perfect snack to take with you on-the-go and pop in your mouth, any time.
Second, grapes are loaded with antioxidants, and some studies show that they may help to improve our heart health and our eyesight. Now, I don’t know if that’s 100% true, however I’ll take any excuse to eat more grapes!
And, when they’re frozen and mixed with Tajin, a popular Mexican chili-lime seasoning… well, they are too good to be true. Trust me when I say that this is a mind-blowing recipe. Hey, it may as well even be life-changing!
If you’ve never tried Tajin, then my friends, you are missing out. Tajin is a chili-lime seasoning that is more flavorful than it is spicy. Yet, it adds the perfect amount of spice to kick up any dish.
Tajin is a dried seasoning that consists of a blend of Mexican chili peppers (árbol, guajillo and pasilla chilies, to be exact), along with dried lime and sea salt. It originated in Jalisco, Mexico, but has quickly rose in popularity here in the USA because of how good it tastes on everything!
Traditionally, you can find Tajin used on dishes like Elote (aka grilled corn on the cob that is slathered with mayo, Tajin, and cotija cheese) or on fresh mango slices, aka Mango con Chile or Mangonada.
But really, Tajin is great on anything, from frozen grapes and fruit, to more savory dishes like chicken or steak tacos!
And if you’re looking for some extra ways to use up your bottle of Tajin, I highly recommend sprinkling it on my Mayo-Free Mexican Street Corn Tostadas, my Buffalo Corn Ribs, or even my Better Than Taco Bell Mexican Pizza for an extra added kick!
To make these grapes, all you need are four simple and easy ingredients!
Now this is the easiest part. To make these grapes, simply start by washing and drying your grapes, then add them to a large bowl.
Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the grapes, then add your monk fruit sweetener and your Tajin! Toss to fully combine, then cover the bowl and place it in the freezer for two hours, or overnight.
Then, when you’re ready to eat them, simply remove them from the freezer and dig in! Store any remainders in the freezer – they’ll stay good for up to one month!

Truly so addicting!!
I’m so happy you enjoyed it, Mary!
Hi there!
If I wanted to use traditional white sugar for this recipe instead of monk fruit sweetenerb, would you recommend two tablespoons of that as well?
Thanks for all you do!
Hi Hayley! Yes, you can substitute traditional white sugar 1:1 for the monk fruit ☻
ADD CHAMOY SAUCE TO THIS RECIPE. TRUST ME.
I thought I invented this thing, so I looked online and someone beat me to it. My recipe was a bunch of frozen grapes, chamoy sauce and tajin. That’s it. I loved it so much I texted like my whole family to tell them to try it.
Such a good suggestion, Derrick! Thank you so much for making this recipe, and for leaving such a kind review!
