  • 1 cup fresh organic strawberries, chopped
  • ¾ cup dairy free chocolate (I used Enjoy Life Foods)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup tahini (OR nut butter of choice!)
  • ½ cup coconut sugar (OR maple syrup)
  • 1 egg (OR flax egg)

  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Line an 8x8 or square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to blend the tahini, vanilla, coconut sugar, and butter.
  • Once fully incorporated, the add the flour and salt.
  • Once that’s mixed in, fold in the chocolate chips and strawberries. The dough should be super thick!
  • Pour contents into the baking dish and use a spatula to press contents down evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let cool before slicing into 12 squares!

  1. Just made this with almond flour and it was great! A bit more moist like a brownie (I guess blondies are supposed to be too?) and I loved it 🙂

  2. I made these last night and love them!!! And I did actually subsitute GF oat flour for GF baking flour because that’s what I had. I haven’t made the original so I don’t know they compared but they seemed perfect! I love, love the strawberries in them and the flavor and texture was great! Thank you <3

  3. Just FYI the egg is missing from the directions 🙂 Missed it the first time but the 2nd time was sooo worth it! Delish!

  4. Hi Nicole, love your recipes! I’m wondering, could the gluten free flour be substituted for almond or oat flour? Thank you!

    • Hi! I think oat flour would work, but I haven’t tried. Almond flour would make them crumbly!
