My 2 Minute Easy Chocolate Cashew Milk comes together with just a few simple ingredients and truly tastes like the creamiest, most delicious chocolate milk. It tastes delicious inside of your favorite smoothies or coffee, and the best part is: the cashews don’t require any pre-soaking. Meaning, this is truly a 2 minute recipe!
Friends, with grocery prices on the rise, I have been looking for ways to save money and make some of my favorite pantry staples, at home. From my simple oat flour to the creamiest oat milk, it is so easy to make these ingredients at home. And one of my new favorite pantry staples to make at home? Cashew milk.
When it comes to nut milks, I truly believe that cashew milk reigns supreme, and that’s because unlike almonds, cashews don’t require soaking beforehand. Which means, this is a recipe that can truly come together in 2 minutes! If you’re someone like me who has a busy schedule and doesn’t always have time to prep-ahead, then you’re going to love how simple this recipe is.
What You Need to Make This Simple & Easy Cashew Milk
Cashews: Cashews are my favorite nut to use for nut milk. Why? For starters, they tend to yield a creamier milk than almonds do. But, unlike almonds, cashews don’t need to be soaked overnight (or at all) in order to for them to blend into a creamy, milky consistency. What could be better than that?
Maple Syrup: Maple syrup adds the perfect amount of sweetness, without the refined sugars.
Vanilla Extract: The vanilla extract helps to make this cashew milk taste sweet and delicious!
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: Of course, cocoa powder is essential to making chocolate milk.
Maca Powder: This is optional, but I love adding in some maca powder to give this milk a malty flavor.
Cold Water: Cold water is what forms the base of this milk.
Sea Salt: A pinch of sea salt adds the best flavor to this milk!
Once it’s done, transfer it to large jars and store it in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy it. It should stay good in the fridge for up to one week!
Three Ways to Enjoy This Delicious, Chocolate Cashew Milk
Add it to a smoothie: A creamy, chocolate smoothie like my German Chocolate Cake Smoothie can be made even better with the addition of this Chocolate Cashew Milk.
Replace your morning coffee creamer: This Chocolate Cashew Milk can be added to a cup of coffee to make it taste like a delicious, creamy mocha!
Turn it into ice cream: If you’ve never made dairy-free ice cream before, then you need to try this recipe, especially with the addition of this chocolate cashew milk!
You can enjoy it by the glass, or add it to your morning coffee or smoothie for a rich and creamy touch!

I just made this and it’s fabulous. Healthy, dairy free and chocolate. As a drink it’s perfect. I did put some in my tea also and while I thought is was very good, I think next time, if I’m planning to use it in my latte, I’d use more cashews and a little less water. Either way, this is a home run for me! Thank you.
