That’s right, my Spicy Smashed Avocado Hash Brown Toasts are the best thing since the OG avocado toast, but with a twist. We’re swapping out the bread for delicious, crispy hash browns, for a flavor that is truly irresistible. This recipe is perfect for breakfast, or anytime you want a delicious, healthy snack!
Friends, when it comes to breakfast, what does your perfect breakfast look like? For me, the answer isn’t clear-cut. Some days, I love nothing more than a large, delicious, fruit-filled smoothie. Other days, I want a protein-packed breakfast. And sometimes, I really just want comfort food. It really just depends on my mood, and what sounds best to make when I wake up!
And that’s why I love intuitive eating so much. Not only does it allow me a better mindset when it comes to food overall, but it has helped me to see that ALL foods can comfortably fit in my “diet.” Whether that’s a plate of steamed veggies or a crispy, fried hash brown, there is room for all foods to have a seat at the table, which makes for an overall more balanced, healthy lifestyle.

You need less than 10 ingredients to make these crispy, delicious hash brown toasts! Note that this recipe yields four toasts, so it can be anywhere from 1-4 servings. 🙂
Making these little Spicy Smashed Avocado Hash Brown Toasts could not be easier! Simply start by preparing your hash browns according to the package instructions. Whether you bake them, pan fry them, or put them in the air fryer, just make sure they’re nice and crispy!
Next, add all of your remaining ingredients to a small bowl (minus the jalapeño) and mash them with a fork until your guacamole is smooth! Taste and adjust your seasonings as desired.
Once your hash browns are done, top each one evenly with the guacamole. Then, place a jalapeño slice on top.
Serve them immediately, and enjoy! This recipe yields 4 toasts, but can easily be doubled to make more. 🙂
