Uh huhhhhhhhh it’s a real thing! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’m into CBD; I have found that adding a few drops to my coffee / matcha / smoothie daily helps reduce anxiety and overall promotes a sense of calmness. Except during toddler tantrums, because then all bets are OFF. If you are new to CBD, NO!! It doesn’t make you high, buzzed, or anything. It’s actually the THC cannabinoid that produces those effects, NOT CBD. so relax. Literally.
- 2 cups golden flaxmeal
- 5 organic, pasture raised vital Farms eggs
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup Biovelle CBD Coconut Oil, melted
- ½ cup water (or sub bone broth!!)
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350.
In one bowl, whisk the flax, salt, and baking powder.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
Add the olive oil, Biovelle CBD coconut oil, and water.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry and mix well.
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper (grease inside first so parchment sticks).
Pour batter into the pan and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
Bake for 40 minutes.
You can bake with cbd oil, but avoid recipes that call for baking over 350 degrees to maintain the effectiveness of the CBD.
