There is nothing more delicious during the holiday season than a creamy glass of eggnog… except, when that eggnog is mixed with coffee. My Healthy Dairy-Free Holiday Nog Creamer is a delicious, creamy, dairy-free twist on the classic eggnog, but is also made to be mixed with coffee. It comes together with just 5 simple ingredients, and is also free from refined sugars!
Friends, with the holidays right around the corner, there is nothing better than cozying up with a warm cup of eggnog. This sweet. creamy (and sometime boozy) drink is filled with warmed spices that truly makes it feel like the holidays. I grew up drinking eggnog with my family every Christmas, and now, I love getting to share it with my boys!
But, traditional eggnog doesn’t always do well on my stomach. Filled with rich dairy, egg yolks, and lots of sugar, eggnog is certainly an indulgent drink. I’ve made my own version of eggnog before, as well as a cozy eggnog latte. But this year, I knew it was time to kick it up a notch with a delicious Holiday Nog Creamer.
This creamer is meant to be paired with your favorite coffee for a delicious morning treat. It’s made from just a few simple ingredients, and is both dairy-free and refined sugar-free, which means it’s gentler on sensitive stomachs without sacrificing that perfect holiday flavor! I love pairing this latte with my favorite gingerbread men cookies for a fun and festive holiday treat!
The 5 Ingredients You’ll Need to Make This Creamer
Half & Half: To make this creamer perfectly thick and creamy, you’ll need half & half. I use a dairy-free half & half alternative, but traditional dairy half & half also works well.
Spices: A spice blend of cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg adds the perfect flavor to this festive coffee creamer!
Vanilla Extract: A touch of vanilla extract adds the right amount of vanilla flavor to this creamer.
Maple Syrup: Maple syrup adds the perfect amount of sweetness to this creamer.
Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar: I love to add a little bit of brown sugar or coconut sugar to make this creamer nice and sweet. If you want to keep this recipe refined sugar-free, be sure to use coconut sugar over the brown sugar.
Once it’s done, transfer it to a jar and store it in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. Use it in your favorite coffee and espresso drinks, or enjoy it on its own, if you desire!

This creamer will stay good, in the fridge, for up to 4-5 days. If you want to extend that time, pour the creamer into ice cube molds and freeze it for up to 2 months! This creamer pairs perfectly with your favorite coffee or espresso drinks – either hot or iced!
The Key To Preparing the Best Coffee
While this Nog can certainly be enjoyed on its own, it’s even better when served as a creamer alongside coffee! While there’s no perfect method for preparing coffee, here are a few of my favorite ways:
Brew it in a French Press: A French press is a simple, no-frills way to prepare the best cup of coffee. All you’ll need is a French press, coarse coffee grounds, and a gooseneck kettle. I love a French press because it truly allows you to control the intensity and brew of the coffee, making for the perfect cup.
Use a Nespresso Machine: My Nespresso machine may just be my most-used kitchen gadget! It’s my favorite way to make a delicious cup of coffee in a matter of seconds.
Try an At-Home Cold Brew: Did you know that cold brew is super simple and easy to prepare at home? It’s true! If you’re someone who loves iced coffee, I definitely recommend trying this Holiday Nog Creamer over a batch of cold brew.
